At CNA Stores, giving back is at the heart of everything we do. As a veteran- and family-owned cannabis dispensary serving Amesbury, Haverhill, and the North Shore of Massachusetts, our philanthropic mission is rooted in purpose, service, and community care. We proudly invest time, funding, and hands-on support into causes that directly impact the people and neighborhoods around us.
Demonstrating the Cannabis Industries Positive Impact, our cannabis dispensary philanthropy is more than a program—it’s a long-term commitment to meaningful, local change. Through our Charity Jar initiative, dedicated boots on the ground work, and a growing network of nonprofit partnerships, we help fuel the efforts of grassroots organizations and community leaders making a difference every day.
These charitable efforts focus on the areas that matter most to our communities:
Veterans and Military Families: Funding mental health services, housing, and transitional support.
Cancer Patients and Caregivers: Supporting access to essential treatment, therapy, and compassionate care.
Food Security: Delivering meals and groceries to families in need through direct contributions and hands-on community service.
…just to name a few.
CNA Stores drives meaningful change through targeted investments in community wellness, environmental stewardship, and social equity across Massachusetts. From local neighborhood cleanups in Amesbury to partnering with essential support networks in Haverhill and Dorchester, our team actively volunteers to create tangible, long-term benefits.
A prime example of this commitment is our Snow Angel program here in Amesbury, where team members roll up their sleeves to assist local seniors and residents in need during harsh winter months.
Right alongside that effort, our team engages in weekly work at the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) food pantry, serving veterans and their families. This aligns closely with NECHV’s strategic partnership with the Veterans Northeast Outreach Center (VNEOC) to deepen support for local service members.
We believe true corporate responsibility requires direct involvement, which is why our dedicated staff regularly shows up to serve the neighborhoods where we live and work. Through strategic partnerships with respected local non-profits, we focus on initiatives that foster long-term resilience, support veterans, and address critical community needs.
By showcasing the Cannabis Industries Positive Impact, we aim to set a standard for ethical business practices within the region. Every purchase at our locations supports a larger charitable effort designed to uplift the North Shore and beyond. Together with our team, loyal customers, and community leaders, we are actively shaping a brighter, more connected, and compassionate future for all of Massachusetts.
At CNA Stores, our commitment to community impact is led by our monthly Dispensary Charity Jar program. As a trusted cannabis dispensary in Amesbury and Haverhill, we proudly support local nonprofits and grassroots initiatives (including Dorchester MA.) that make a real difference in our neighborhoods.
Each month, we collect and distribute meaningful monetary donations through customer contributions made at both of our dispensary locations.
these funds go directly to vetted, local organizations committed to causes such as veteran support, food security, health care access, and youth services.
If your organization is based in Amesbury Dorchester or Haverhill and shares our values of compassion, service, and community building, we’d love to hear from you. To be considered for a future charity partnership through our Dispensary Charity Jar program, please complete and submit the form below.
This form is the official way for local nonprofits and community groups to apply for future fundraising opportunities through CNA Stores. We strongly encourage eligible organizations to fill it out and introduce your mission.
Please note: Due to high demand, our Charity Jar calendar is fully booked through the end of 2026, but we are still accepting submissions for future consideration.
To double that impact, we match these donations at the end of the year in the form of yearly bonuses to hourly staff based on each employee’s worked hours for that same time frame. This approach gives our team deeper insight into local charities and instills a genuine sense of pride in the work we do.
